YOU'VE GOT QUESTIONS, WE'VE GOT ANSWERS

What is this and why should I care?

Great question! Racked is a one-on-one assisted stretching service. We take all the guesswork out of stretching and make it super easy by doing it for you. We know, you're probably asking if you really need someone to stretch you but we think (obviously, seeing as we started a company around it) most people can really benefit from a Racked session. We can get into those joints and muscles in a way that you can't on your own while protecting you from overdoing it in any one area. And our method was created by Dr. Keren Day DC, an expert in biomechanics and movement who has put all of her expertise into a system that leads to results.

Most people feel looser, lighter and more relaxed after just one session.

How often and when should I come in?

Another good question but this one is a little more difficult seeing as we don't know you yet. The long answer is that it depends on what your goals are. Some clients like to come in after a hard training session or experimenting with a new workout, as we can help with that post gym soreness. Others come in beforehand to loosen everything up and get the blood flowing. A stretch is also a great pick-me-up after spending hours at a desk or on your feet (some have even said it is better than coffee!).

Frequency also depends on what you're working toward but we think of it like life. If you have a big goal you have to spend time working at it. If you're stuck in a rut, an occasional change of pace might do the trick. What we're really trying to say is give Racked a try and we'll find a solution that is right for you!

Who will be stretching me?

The Rackers are all certified fitness or wellness professionals who have been through the rigorous Racked Training program. They are all really great people but they are NOT doctors and won't be treating or diagnosing any injuries.

What happens when I get there?

You'll meet your Racker and answer a few quick questions about any areas of tightness, injuries, and what you're working toward. After that you get to take off your shoes, lie back and relax. The Racker will talk you through your session, but expect a short warm up on the table to open your joints and get your neurons firing, leading into the actual stretches where your body is moved through space. It's a bit like a dance where your partner does all the work and you get to be a limp noodle.

What makes Racked so special?

We may be biased but we think it goes back to our origins. A much sought after chiropractor with years of experience treating elite athletes and desk jockeys alike and a stereotypical, Type-A corporate stress ball got together to start Racked. The method is grounded in science, research and practical experience while every aspect is built to fit into a busy lifestyle. We don't just focus on muscles and joints, but engage the brain and neurological system to create a connection that makes our method extra efficient.

And our focus on different sports and activities, rather than a one size fits all approach, means you get exactly what you need out of your session with the utmost attention to quality, consistency and results.
